Exclusive rights to technology

For the next 5 years, XIX Developments has exclusive rights to what we believe is the only combination of technologies that can currently create carbon-positive homes. We are bringing such homes to the UK for the first time.

During the 5 years, we will work with local authorities and housing associations to deliver on a range of their key concerns: Economic development, reducing inequality and poverty, and creating sustainable communities that are essential to the net zero target.

The opportunity

There are 4.4m units of social housing (Gov.uk) as of March 2022. 1.6m are local authority owned and the rest are with providers such as housing associations. In 2020/21, housing associations alone started building 44,096 homes (National Housing Federation).

XIX Developments have an agreement for a 72-plot pilot project with a local authority. As well as this, 7 local authorities and housing associations have expressed an interest. We have relationships with 10 and the capacity to grow this. Two of the largest housebuilders have also expressed an interest.

Complete sustainability, completely futureproof

Our vision is the removal of energy costs from all social housing. We can also do the same for those in the private rental sector who prefer to be in social housing. Then, all housing. We will thus eradicate fuel poverty.

We do this by making each home self-sufficient in energy. We will drastically reduce social exclusion by erasing the image of social housing by giving clients a very attractive home and living space.
